N&C ACQUIRES ASSETS OF A&M HEATH/TUBS AND TILES OF COVENTRY
Following a difficult trading period tile distributor A&M Heath and tile and bathroom retailer Tubs and Tiles entered administration in December 2016 and closed before Christmas.
The business had been trading since 1966 as a tile distributor and over recent years the company has developed a large, award-winning showroom featuring bathrooms and tiles, which had developed a reputation as one of the best stores in the Midlands.
The appointment of an insolvency practitioner lead to an auction of the assets which has been won by Nicholls & Clarke Group.
The Coventry site will be the 18th N&C Tile and Bathroom showroom in the UK and will continue to offer the existing range of products, as well as providing trade customers access to the N&C range of 60,000 products. Nicobond Adhesives and tiling solutions, bathrooms and wetroom products will be added to the stock in the coming weeks.
