Speed on the track and on the job for Tilemaster winner, Eclipse Flooring
Darren Ewing from Eclipse Flooring was the lucky winner of Tilemaster’s ‘Track Day’ prize draw at the recent Harrogate Flooring Show 2016.
Based in Wallasey, Eclipse Flooring covers Liverpool, Wirral and the surrounding areas. Darren and partner, Paul Pinder specialise in LVT installations but also supply and fit a wide range of other flooring products, in the domestic and contract sectors.
A big fan of Tilemaster’s self levelling products, Darren buys through Lee Floorstok and Pennine Flooring. He was delighted to win the prize draw, whilst visiting the Tilemaster team during the industry event.
Darren said: “I’m over the moon about winning the driving experience; driving a super car is something on my ‘bucket list’. It was a great thing to share with the Tilemaster team, I’ve been using their screeding compounds over the last few years and really like the way they keep updating their range to deal with any type of subfloor. We do a lot of LVT work, which takes plenty of preparation to achieve a perfect finish. Screeds like Fine Flow 3000 come into their own, to get that ‘glass finish’ subfloor.
“We also fit a lot of wood and laminate, so Rapid Level 30 is handy to level uneven subfloors and then we’re able to start installing after 90 minutes. My favourite new product is LevelFlex because of its versatility and suitability for wood installations, up to depths of 50mm,” explained Darren.
“We’ve got a unit in Moreton in the Wirral now and have been selling some Tilemaster products to local builders, and giving them advice and tips on how to get the best out of the screeds. We’re big fans and with new products coming onto market soon, we’re looking forward to a good 2017 with Tilemaster,” Darren added.
