CAREER OPPORTUNITIES WITH INSTARMAC
Instarmac has two vacancies currently in its R&D department. The company is looking for a laboratory development manager, who will be responsible for managing both the Quality Control and Research & Development teams within its laboratory facility. The successful candidate will manage development and technical projects undertaken by the Research & Development team, ensuring projects meet specified requirements and are completed within time and economic constraints. The role will need to maintain focus within the Quality Team on providing a high standard of quality testing for both finished products and raw materials, as well as efficiently planning and scheduling the workload around both teams to ensure good communication within the department and the wider business.
The role will be required to ensure drive and motivation within the technical team, to enable it to create new and innovative products.
The second opportunity is for a development chemist, who will be responsible for the formulation and development of Instarmac products. The development chemist will ensure that new products meet with the briefings and specifications provided by the sales team. The role will involve maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers to benefit innovation, product development and cost efficiency of the company’s products. It will also be required to provide support and analysis for products under quality investigation, while maintaining records and data systems for projects which fallen within the responsibility of the role.
