CONFINDUSTRIA CERAMICA APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT
The General Council of Confindustria Ceramica have elected Dr. Augusto Ciarrocchi as president of the Association for the two-year period of June 2024–May 2026.
“I warmly thank all my colleagues for the trust they have placed in me with this position of great prestige and responsibility”, declared the new president-designate Augusto Ciarrocchi. “Our Association has demonstrated in recent years how the common commitment and participation of companies is capable of producing relevant results for the Italian ceramic industry, in an increasingly competitive international context. I assure you of my utmost commitment to continue along this line.”
In other news, preparations are underway for Cersaie 2024, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings. Due to be held in Bologna, Italy from 23rd–27th September, this year Cersaie will focus on all areas of architectural design from residential spaces to large-scale contract projects, from private construction to expansive urban spaces.
The concept behind the graphic design for Cersaie 2024 is the importance of architectural design and the idea of interpersonal relationships generated with architectural spaces.
