CSCS CARDS SET TO EXPIRE BY THE END OF THE YEAR
From 30th June 2024, cards carrying the CSCS logo obtained via Industry Accreditation will no longer be renewed and will expire on 31st December 2024 and cannot be replaced using IA. This is to meet industry requirements, which state that all construction industry card schemes must operate with nationally recognised qualifications in place for all occupations.
Over the last 12 months, the number of individuals holding an Industry Accreditation card has reduced by half, but there are still 29,000 who need to replace their card by the end of this year.
CSCS has issued tailored guidance designed to help Blue, Gold and Black Industry Accreditation cardholders move onto an appropriate card.
