DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR ARDEX AT TTA AWARDS
It was a successful night for ARDEX at this year’s TTA Awards, winning in both the category for Best Use of Tile in a Commercial Contract and Employee of the Year!
ARDEX won the project award for the 80-100 Victoria Street project, where the company’s products were specified to install 1600sq m of 2500 x 1000mm porcelain slabs supplied by Pentagon Tiles. The system included ARDEX Microtec X 7001 Rapid Drying Semi-Pourable Floor Tile Adhesive. ARDEX levelling compounds, grouts and silicones were also used in order to overcome the challenges associated with installing tiles of that size and to provide a long-term, crack-free finish. The second Award that went to ARDEX this year was for Moray Anderson, who was named Employee of the Year! After 45 years in the tiling industry, including almost 30 years at ARDEX as a Technical Services Representative, Moray’s entire lifetime of achievements was recognised by this very prestigious award. From starting in his family’s tile design business to where he is now, he has not only played a key role in many high profile projects, but he has also assisted thousands in the industry with his expertise and knowledge.
