Job vacancy: Instarmac technical site support and training manager

It would be ideally suited to someone with a construction technical background and who is looking to take that step into site support or someone with practical tiling or flooring experience looking to come off the tools into the this training role. Technical Site Support & Training Manager

Responsible to: Technical Director
Department: Technical

We are looking for an individual who has the skills and ability to train others in the use of Instarmac flooring and tiling products demonstrating the key points and benefits. This is a national role and includes the use of a service vehicle, training contractors, distributors, internal sales teams and new starters.

You will have responsibility for our training facility, to implement new ideas and product training strategies, providing support for our sales teams at exhibitions & trade days. Site specifications and trouble shooting on site are additional responsibilities requiring good observational skills and an awareness of construction.

The individual will be trained in the products but will be expected to learn fast and become self reliable. The candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, have good organisation and structure, as well as being a good time keeper. Being able to captivate an audience and having good presentation and computer skills are ideal.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday working 7 1/2-hour days. Office days will be between 8.30am and 5pm. However the 7 1/2 hour day when on site will be to suit the work in hand at the times requested from site and allowing for travel.
