An opportunity has arisen to join family-run EMC Tiles in a key role as head of marketing.
The TTA award-winning company is well-known in the industry for having three generations of family members in leading positions.
Now a newly-created post of head of marketing has become available as the company seeks to attract a talented and experienced marketeer who can develop and drive the company’s strategy at an exciting time for the business.
EMC Tiles has showrooms and warehouses in Nottingham and Loughborough and recently launched a new outlet in Leicester plus a rapidly growing national and international web presence.
The position will be based in Nottingham.

“For over 38 years EMC Tiles has built a reputation as a specialist supplier and distributor of ceramic tiles and all relevant products. Our continued success comes from our commitment to product support and customer service.
“We now employ over 40 people and have three branch locations throughout the East Midlands to be supported by our marketing team based in Nottingham. These are exciting times here at EMC Tiles, with the recent re-design of our website and launch of our digital marketing strategy.
“There is much more development in the pipeline and we are looking for that special someone who has the creative flair to head our current marketing team to ensure its continued success.
“As our head of marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy. Product training will be continual with this position, so the right candidate will need to be adaptable and ready to learn as they progress.”
The main duties of the head of marketing role are to:
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy;
- Maintain and improve current media including radio marketing;
- Continue to develop our email marketing platform, analyse data and produce appropriate reports;
- Maintain and improve our in-house digital trade screens;
- Assist with development and design of our websites;
- Assist with the development of our social media strategy;
- Maintain awareness of competitor activities
