NORCROS ADHESIVES ADDS ANHYDRITE SCREEDS TO ITS PORTFOLIO OF CPD SEMINARS
Architects and specifiers are set to benefit from the latest RIBA-approved CPD seminar from tile adhesive, grout and preparation products manufacturer Norcros Adhesives. The new seminar covers one of the key current topics of interest to specifiers of floor preparation products, namely how to deal with anhydrite screeds.
Called Solutions for Tiling to Anhydrite Screeds, the new seminar has been specifically developed for architects, specifiers and large contractors to provide important information for construction industry professionals who require guidance on these types of screeds and who also need to keep their CPD qualifications up to date. There is a lack of published detail readily available on the subject of anhydrite screeds and customers frequently contact the Norcros technical department seeking information.
Anhydrite screeds are becoming increasingly popular for larger flooring installations because they offer a number of benefits over sand:cement screeds. Their main advantage is that they can be laid more quickly and easily. However they also have a number of disadvantages, mainly associated with the requirement for an extended drying time. The Norcros CPD presentation examines all these issues, so that construction specifiers have the unbiased information that they need when working with these types of screed.
