Penrith Tile Centre chooses Tilemaster for exclusive Carleton Manor Park
Penrith Tile Centre recently completed an extensive tiling project using Tilemaster fixing products at Cumbrian Homes’ exclusive Carleton Manor Park development.
The new luxury homes featured porcelain wood effects, unpolished tumbled marble and stone mosaics, supplied by Ca’ Pietra, Marshalls Tile and Stone Interiors and Verona.
Tilemaster products were chosen to facilitate a high-spec finish throughout kitchens, bathrooms and en-suites.
Located in Penrith’s Eden Valley, with views to the Pennines and Lake District fells, Carleton Manor Park includes 44 luxury apartments and houses. All surfaces were installed by Paul Birkett Construction, following full specification checks by John Williams from Penrith Tile Centre, who helped design the spaces with the team at Cumbrian Homes.
Tiles specified included Marshalls Tasman wood-effect porcelain, which injected wow factor into the main bathrooms, along with Verona’s Kenyan Grey Mosaics in shower areas. Grey-mottled Astro tumbled marble was chosen for the rustic, contemporary kitchens and chic Lunar tumbled limestone for ensuites, each supplied by Ca’ Pietra.
During the installation, Tilemaster’s highly flexible, rapid-set Ultimate Adhesive was used to install Dural Ci Matting. For stone and porcelain installation, Tilemaster’s versatile Trade Flexi Rapid — in white and grey — also provided flexibility and a fast-set. Tilemaster Grout 3000 was also specified within kitchen areas, to provide smooth, controlled workability and a complementary light grey tile joint to the tumbled marble.
