The Tiling Show makes impressive debut
The first ever UK Tiling Show took place in September at the Harrogate International Centre.
With 653 people registering at the Hall Q Tiling entrance, and a further 1110 visitors crossing over from the well-established Flooring Show, footfall proved steady over the three-day show. The Flooring Show reported a 9.6% rise in visitors, with a total of 3,119 unique buyers passing through the doors.
Throughout the whole exhibition, the atmosphere was electric, with the dedicated Tiling Hall, Hall Q, attracting quality visitors who were placing strong orders. The show features were popular with exhibitors and visitors alike. There were superb demonstrations in the Demo Zone, kindly organised by The Tile Association; the Trends Hub showed immaculately dressed window displays; the seminar speakers educated audience members on a variety of subjects, with a keynote talk from Vanessa Brady OBE; and Ask the Experts from Consult Yorkshire offered unfaltering advice.
Organisers Wendy Adams Associates have already announced the dates for next year’s event – Sunday 17th to Tuesday 19th September 2017 – so make sure you put them in your diary!
