Topps Tiles is announcing an accelerated store opening programme to take the total number of UK stores from 350 to 450 by 2021.
At the same time the company is investing £2m in a complete redesign and refurbish of its Leicestershire head office, transforming it into a state-of-the-art retail support centre. The refurbishment, which is due to be completed before mid-2017, will modernise the building, offering specific areas for team members to channel their creativity, as well as an innovative speciality product lab and team zones. Social spaces, an outside area and meetings rooms will also be refreshed to create a more open and contemporary working environment.
Employing more than 270 staff on site and nearly 2,000 nationally, Topps is placing significant emphasis on its people, with the introduction of a new careers website. The site will support the growth of the business across the UK, as new store openings create extensive employment opportunities.
