THE TILE ASSOCIATION AND ITS MEMBERS HAVE BEEN INVITED TO ASCER
The Tile Association and its members have been invited to ASCER, the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association, and Castellón Chamber of Commerce.
The trip is fully funded by ASCER and the Chamber of Commerce, of which TTA is very grateful. This follows two highly successful TTA visits of tile manufacturers in Castellón in November 2021 and May 2022.
The upcoming trip will take place from 3rd – 6th July. It will be mainly focused on TTA retailer and distributor members, with visits to Spanish manufacturers and discussions on the latest trends regarding colour and format.
This is made possible due to the close partnership between TTA and ASCER.
Last year, TTA group was invited to the country’s most important tile producing region to learn about tile manufacturing and issues affecting the manufacturing sector currently.
Participants found the trip to be highly beneficial, as they had the opportunity to hear presentations from leading manufacturers, with the opportunity for some hands-on experience.
The visitors enjoyed visits to factories and showrooms belonging to some of the major players in the tile manufacturing sector in the Castellón area.
As well as being a great learning opportunity for TTA group, the visit further strengthened the relationship TTA now has with ASCER. The relationship is already highly productive, following a market collaboration initiated in 2020 between the two associations, and cemented with a highly successful TTA visit to Spain.
Two representative from ASCER attended TTA Awards on May 12 this year. With approximately 135 members, ASCER includes and represents practically all Spain’s ceramic tile manufacturers. There are no limits to the Association’s range of activities and services.
