TTA AWARDS MOVE TO NEW VENUE FOR 2021
TTA is announcing a move to a new venue for this year’s TTA Awards.
To maximise safety of all attendees, this year’s Gala Awards Night will be held at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, just four miles from the normal venue near the NEC.
The evening’s celebrations will be held in a marquee on the same site where the TTA Golf tournament will take place earlier in the day. Further information about the ever-popular TTA Golf Day will be made available in due course.
“In the present situation, we felt that holding a slightly smaller event at this venue would be the most responsible option for our guests at the TTA Awards,” says Paul Luff, TTA Chairman. “The event will be covid secure and we will work closely with the venue management to ensure that we follow the relevant guidance at the time. The evening will however offer all the usual attractions of the TTA Awards – combining a celebration of all that is best in our industry, in terms of achievement and success, with the opportunity for us as an industry to meet together and have a good time – something we are all definitely ready for!”

In view of restricted numbers at the event, it is now even more important to get your seats booked early. Existing reservations will of course be honoured and new reservations can be made at £175 + VAT for an individual place, while a table of 10 costs £1,575 + VAT. A second table of 10 is available at a discounted rate of £1,400 + VAT.
Spacious rooms are available at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, which also boasts a spa, a tennis court, a fitness centre and a pool complex. TTA is confident that everyone who comes along will find the event both rewarding and enjoyable.
The TTA Awards will be back at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole in 2022 for a bigger TTA Awards event, and also a return of the Tiling Show. The date to put in your diary for that is 24 June 2022.
Regarding this year’s Awards themselves, TTA would like to thank everyone who has taken the trouble to enter. The judging process is now underway, and soon the public vote will open up as well. Despite the changes, you can be sure that this year’s TTA Awards will be an event to remember. After the year-and-a-half that we’ve had, everyone is going to be more than ready for a celebration, although you can be confident that the entire event will be held in a covid secure manner and in accordance with the relevant regulations.
