ULTRATILE ARE ON TOP OF THE WORLD AFTER TWO BIG WINS AT THE TILE ASSOCIATION AWARDS
The Tile Association Awards are the biggest event in the tiling calendar and UltraTile are delighted to have been awarded Best Environmental Initiative and Excellence in Services & Supply at the 2023 ceremony.
UltraTile were delighted to have won the Best Environmental Initiative award at the 2022 Tile Association Awards and are extremely honoured to have been presented with this accolade for the second year in a row.
On their award-win, Jason Reid, UltraTile Brand Manager, commented: “We work really hard to be as green as possible. Our solar farm, CNG lorries and recycled packaging are just a few of the changes we have made. I’ve always been proud of our environmental commitments, and it was fantastic to be recognised by the tiling industry too. That being said, we don’t just sit back and think, job done! We continue to invest time and resources to reduce our carbon footprint and are continuing our journey to becoming a Net Zero business.”

2022 was a tough year for the tiling industry. Increasing petrol prices, rising cost of raw materials and labour shortages made trading in the last 12 months difficult to say the least. Despite these challenges, 2022 was a record year for UltraTile, breaking their own benchmarks, more than once.
Demand for the UltraTile brand has been high throughout year, due to quality, reliable products, and exceptional personal service. UltraTile has smashed sales targets, secured new independent and national accounts, and saw a record number of products delivered – all resulting in a customer satisfaction level of 97.5%.
“To be able to report that my team is delivering on sales and satisfaction means my job is done! Seriously, these are the performance indicators that I monitor the most and to achieve these stats in a turbulent marketplace is an exceptional feat. I am very proud and wish to express my thanks to our loyal customer base and those new to our UltraTile family.”
These industry accolades are a fantastic achievement for UltraTile but their job is not yet done. UltraTile remain committed to providing the tiling industry with world-class products and services and so, to further improve their offering, 2023 saw work begin on their new, £7 million, state-of-the-art, adhesive production line – an investment which will increase manufacturing efficiencies and significantly improve product lead times.
