ULTRATILE WINS BEST ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVE
UltraTile won this Award for its latest environmental achievement, a new 3,771 sq m solar energy farm. The company is now using 5,000 tonnes of recycled materials in its products. It runs Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks and boasts green technology use for 27% of its company car vehicles – improving its carbon footprint by 16%. Following the installation of the new solar energy farm, the company’s calculations demonstrate a power saving of between 12 and 17%, which is 36,000kw per month at least.
