VERONA STRENGTHENS NORTHERN AREA SALES TEAM
Following a period of sustained growth, leading distributor Verona has strengthened its sales team covering the north of England and Scotland with the appointment of Nick Johnson. Nick brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked in the industry for 31 years, most recently at British Ceramic Tile.
Speaking about his new role, Nick says: “I’m really looking forward to helping Verona continue their growth within the independent retail sector. With such a wide range of products and great support there’s plenty for me to talk to customers about, from the latest 20mm outdoor porcelain tiles to our new online trade portal that allows customers to check stock, place orders and manage their account online. I feel like I’m joining the company at an exciting time.”
Nick will be working in the north alongside Robbie Fairhurst who was promoted to Verona’s sales team in January and also has a wide range of knowledge and experience. Robbie has been with the company for nine years, and proved his hardworking, customer-friendly nature in his previous role as Senior Merchandiser.
