New products announced by Schluter Systems Ltd
As announced at Cersaie this year, the Schluter-DESIGNBASE-SL decorative skirting range has been expanded, offering an option to include a channel to run cables through.
Schluter-DESIGNBASE-CQ allows cables to be hidden, and is available in matt white and anodised and stainless steel effect aluminium finishes for a sleek alternative to skirting boards. Also in the range is Schluter-DESIGNBASE-QD, an option when combined with Schluter-LIPROTEC-ES LED strips to provide skirting light. It can also be used for borders within a wall. Additional decorative materials such as tiles or wood can be placed into the open space to provide different finish options.
Also introduced is the brand new 50mm water seal drain added to the Schluter-KERDI-LINE range. Schluter-KERDI-LINE is a component linear drainage system for the construction of floor level showers with ceramic tiles or natural stone coverings.
This linear drainage system, has been updated to ensure that it complies with BS EN 1253, providing a constant 50 mm water seal and to meet flow requirements which is in compliance with National House Building Council (NHBC) regulations to offer a complete system solution. The vertical drainage system is Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-V 50 G2 and the horizontal drainage system is Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-H 50 G2.
