BEWI ANNOUNCES NEW STAFF APPOINTMENTS AT ITS WIGAN OFFICE
BEWI, parent company of JACKOBOARD®, the UK market leader in insulated and waterproof tiling backerboard, has announced the appointment of two new staff members based at its Wigan head office.
Katy Dootson, 32, joined the tiling and bathroom industry in 2020 working in a showroom environment. She started at BEWI in September as an administration assistant and has a strong aptitude for customer interaction.
Ethan Harragan, 25, is a mechanical engineer, who joined the bathroom industry during the pandemic, working directly with plumber contractors and also retail customers. Supporting customers is his main focus and is the aspect that he enjoys most.
Meanwhile Elisha Moss, who joined the company 18 months ago in a customer services position, has been appointed a Sustainability Champion for BEWI in the UK. This means that she will play a key role in driving forward the company’s work on sustainability and ensuring JACKOBOARD® makes a strong contribution towards achieving Net Zero by 2050.

That is partly because of our strong sustainability positioning, as a manufacturer of insulated tile backerboard, so I am also pleased that Elisha is now helping us regarding that aspect.”
